Anglesea is delighted to announce the signing of A

Anglesea is delighted to announce the signing of A Grade coach, Tegan Philip, for the 2022 season.

Tegan had a stellar 10 year career with the Melbourne Vixens, winning two premierships (including MVP of the match) AND has represented Australia on numerous occasions - she has a gold medal to prove it! Tegan currently holds the record for the most number of games played for with the Vixens and most goals scored having spent her career in goal attack.

We were lucky to have Tegan as the club ambassador for in 2021 where she ran specialist training sessions with the juniors and seniors and we cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store for Anglesea.

We know it’s been a while since anyone has had their hands on a ball, so we are welcoming all old and new faces to have a run with us before trials (date to be announced). Our preseason trainings cater for all fitness and skill levels. Meet us at the netball courts at Elimatta Reserve this Thursday for a 6PM sharp start ☀️

On the 27th of December the Anglesea will take on the Anglesea Roo Run 21.

We are asking our players to get involved for their chance to win the inaugural roo run trophy. All you have to do is;
• Sign up & run for the 8km track.
• Wear your Anglesea gear (training top / polo).
• Be the first one wearing Anglesea gear to cross the line.

There will be one female and one male winner!

Anglesea Football Netball Club is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Senior Netball Coach for season 2022 and beyond.
The position can be playing or non-playing and is vital in the development of players at all levels. The successful applicant will work closely with other coaches and the operations team.
The role includes the ability to identify talent within the club and recruit externally if required.
Minimum requirement is Level 2: Development Coach Accreditation however, if this is not held the club will support the successful applicant to obtain this.

We have a number of other positions available for both coaches and players including A Grade marquee positions.

Alan brings a wealth of experience coaching within GFL, BFL and GDFL.
Alan has a strong passion in the development of young players and getting the most out of each of his playing groups, which we are very excited about.
Alan will also be a line coach for our senior team to continue to develop his coaching journey and get the best continuity between our men’s senior and reserves group.
